Introduction....                                                                                Update: 21-02-2012 - Litter

Welcome to our website.

We are Frans and Frida de Jong. We live in Zevenbergschenhoek, a small village in the Netherlands. Besides our Cattle Dogs, and Lancashire Heelers we have a few other animals, a horse, a little pony, sheep's, alpaca's and cats.

About our Dogs.

Kombinalong Super Annie was our first Australian Cattle Dog, we imported her from Australia.

Later we  imported Kombinalong Be Super (Niek-Go) from Australia and shortly after that Gravans Seven Hills Super Wilma from America. We are breeding Australian Cattle Dogs since 1996.

When we plan a litter we try to find the best of combination. We consider not only the appearance of the dog, but, as importantly, the character and health. We have all our dogs tested for BEAR, HD and PRA.

2002 was a great year, when our Red Hanky of The Seven Hills Country became World Champion en Best of Breed, in the World Winner Show in Amsterdam.

The Lancashire Heelers joined us since 2008.

Frans went to Norway for our first female Procordia's One and Only (phoebe). She was so lovely and funny that in 2009 Axa's Ada of Rivendell (Elvis) came to our country. And finaly in 2010 Bellsmond Apache Dawn (Kate) keeps us company. We hope we can make a good start with these three dogs.

When we have puppies we socialize as well as possible, they grow up in our living room where they get accustomed to everyday things in our house and meet our dogs and a lot of people that visit us.

When the pups are older, we take them outside to meet the other animals and some more of the world outside the house to see. By 6 weeks the pups have their first vaccination and they get their registration number.(chip)

The Australian Cattle dog puppies will have a hearing test, and then they leave us and go to their new homes.

The Lancashire Heeler puppies will be eye tested before they leave our house.

The Australian Cattle Dog is a very intelligent, highly trainable and extremely active breed, who needs mental stimulation. A bored Cattle Dog is a destructive Cattle Dog. The Australian Cattle Dog is a social breed that needs to be with "his people". He may try to gather children and visitors into groups by nipping and biting at the heels, due to his herding instinct.

The Lancashire Heeler is although very friendly, but this little chap does have a touch of terrier in.

It is very important that they attend a training class to be socialised and to learn basic manners. Lancashire Heelers are ideal dogs for active people of any age who are able to give them the attention they require. A dog proof garden is important, if they are left unsupervised, as they are very good escapologists and can get out of the smallest hole and climb or jump over a low fence!

Before you decide that you want to be a proud Australian Cattle Dog or Lancashire Heeler owner you should learn much more about this breed. Both breeds are strong charactered dogs. They are loyal to their owners and their family, and they are great working dogs.

If you have any questions about our dogs, you can contact us through e-mail or phone.
